Water in Fuel Indicator Sensor Replacement

Warning: Refer to Petrol/Petrol Vapours Warning in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Raise the vehicle by its full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .



3. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (3) from the fuel feed pipe connector (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .



4. Disconnect the fuel pipe (2) from the fuel filter housing (3).



5. Disconnect the 2 fuel filter wiring harness plugs (1) and (2) from the fuel filter (6).



6. Remove the fuel filter (2) from the fuel filter bracket (1).

1. Install the fuel filter (2) to the fuel filter bracket (1).



2. Connect the 2 fuel filter wiring harness plugs (1) and (2) to the fuel filter (6).



3. Connect the fuel pipe (2) to the fuel filter housing (3).



4. Connect the fuel feed pipe (3) to the fuel feed pipe connector (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
5. Lower the vehicle full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
