The glass breakage sensors are located on the rear side windows and is supplied B+ at all times. The body control module grounds the glass breakage sensor circuit. In the event of the interruption of voltage to the glass breakage sensors, the alarm will sound.

Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Current Content Theft Deterrent Trigger parameter. The reading should be 0 counts.
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K9 BCM. |
⇒ | If the test lamp is always OFF, test the control circuit for short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the B159R right glass breakage sensor. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
