Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement - 1.6L LXT,L2W

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
4. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .



5. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) from the thermostat housing (5).
6. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp (3) from the radiator (4).
7. Remove the radiator inlet hose (2).

1. Install the radiator inlet hose (2).
2. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp (3) to the radiator (4).
3. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) to the thermostat housing (5).
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
6. Connect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
7. Close the bonnet.
