Timing Belt Tensioner Replacement

1. Open bonnet.
2. Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
3. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .



4. Remove the 3 timing belt tensioner bolts (2).
5. Remove the timing belt tensioner (1).

1. Clean the timing belt tensioner threads.
2. Install the timing belt tensioner (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 3 timing belt tensioner bolts (2) and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
4. Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .
5. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
6. Close the bonnet.
