Timing Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

1. Open bonnet.
2. Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .



3. Remove the timing belt idler pulley bolt (2).
4. Remove the timing belt idler pulley (1).

1. Clean the timing belt idler pulley bolt thread inside the cylinder head.
2. Install the timing belt idler pulley (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the timing belt idler pulley bolt (2) and tighten to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
4. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
5. Close the bonnet.
