Drive Belt Tensioner Diagnosis

  1. Diagnosis consists of a function check on the automatic belt tensioner (2) and a visual check on the belt (1) and the components linked to the belt.
  2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner (2) clockwise with a suitable tool (3).
  3. Apply tension to the belt tensioner (2) in the direction of the arrow, clockwise and allow to slide back slowly.
  4. The tensioner must slide back to the initial position.
