Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation

EN-6623 Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools : 1.6L LXT .

  1. Clean the sealing surface.
  2. Lubricate the crankshaft rear oil seal lip with NEW engine oil.
  3. Attach the crankshaft rear oil seal (1) onto the EN-6623 installer (2).

  4. Install EN-6623 installer (2) along with the crankshaft rear oil seal with the 3 bolts (3) to the crankshaft journal and tighten.
  5. Tighten the bolt (1) evenly to the crankshaft journal until it stops.
  6. Remove the EN-6623 installer (2) from the crankshaft journal.
