Timing Belt Tensioner Installation

  1. Clean the timing belt tensioner threads in the cylinder head.
  2. Install the timing belt tensioner (2).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the 3 timing belt tensioner bolts (1) and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
