Transmission Case
Procedure
- Input and output shaft must engage in the bearings in the transmission case.
- The intermediate shaft and the selector forks must sit in their opposing bearings in the transmission case.
- Install the DT-48231 pusher/puller on the transmission case.
- Tighten the four bolts of the DT-48231 input and output shaft pusher/puller.
- Screw the two spindles into the input and output shaft.
- Hold the two spindles using a suitable tool.
- Turn the two nut in direction of arrows and draw the input and output shaft evenly into the bearings in the transmission case.
- Remove the DT-48231 pusher/puller.
Tip If large forces are necessary when actuation the DT-48231 input and output shaft pusher/puller separate the transmission case and the clutch and differential housing again and check the positioning of the shaft and selector forks. Special ToolsDT-48231 Input and Output Shaft Pusher/Puller
