Transmission Case

Procedure

1. Input and output shaft must engage in the bearings in the transmission case.
2. The intermediate shaft and the selector forks must sit in their opposing bearings in the transmission case.
3. Install the DT-48231 pusher/puller on the transmission case.
4. Tighten the four bolts of the DT-48231 input and output shaft pusher/puller.
5. Screw the two spindles into the input and output shaft.
6. Hold the two spindles using a suitable tool.
7. Turn the two nut in direction of arrows and draw the input and output shaft evenly into the bearings in the transmission case.
8. Remove the DT-48231 pusher/puller.

Tip
If large forces are necessary when actuation the DT-48231 input and output shaft pusher/puller separate the transmission case and the clutch and differential housing again and check the positioning of the shaft and selector forks.
