Air Inlet Valve and Inside Air Valve Control Cam Replacement — Right Hand Drive

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .

  2. Remove the air inlet valve actuator gear (1).

    3. 2188768
  3. Disconnect the air inlet valve actuator electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the air inlet valve actuator screws (2).
  5. Remove the air inlet valve actuator (3)

  6. Remove the air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam (1).

Installation Procedure

    Note: The air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam can only be fitted in one position.

  1. Install the air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam (1).

  2. Install the air inlet valve actuator (3).
  3. install the air inlet valve actuator screws (2)
  4. Connect the electrical connector.

  5. Install the air inlet valve actuator gear (1).
  6. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
