Transmission Rear Mount Replacement - Electronic Power Steering

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove steering gear - EPS. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement : Hydraulic Power Steering .
  2. Remove rear transmission mount bracket. Refer to Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear .

  3. Remove rear transmission mount to frame bolts (1) and nuts (2).
  4. Remove rear transmission mount.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install rear transmission mount.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install rear transmission mount to frame bolts (1) and nuts (2) and tighten to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).
  3. Install rear transmission mount bracket. Refer to Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear .
  4. Install steering gear - EPS. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement : Hydraulic Power Steering .
