Preliminary Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Heated Oxygen Sensor 2

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Disconnect electrical connector.
2. After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup : LNP → LUW, LUJ → LLW → LXT → LXV, 2H0 .
3. If reusing the heated oxygen sensor, coat the thread with assembly paste.
