Air Inlet Valve and Inside Air Valve Control Cam Replacement — Left Hand Drive

1. Remove instrument panel compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .




Note: The graphic shows air inlet housing without attaching parts for better clarity.

2. Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Remove the 3 mode control cam actuator screws (2).
4. Remove mode control cam actuator (1).



5. Remove air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam (1).

Note: The air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam can only be fitted in one position.

1. Install air inlet valve and inside air valve control cam (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Install mode control cam actuator (1).
3. Install 3 mode control cam actuator screws (2) and tighten to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
4. Connect the electrical connector
5. Install instrument panel compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
