Fuel Injector Removal

Special Tools

    • EN-328-B Sliding Hammer
    • EN-46786 Remover
    • EN-48559 Injector Protective Caps

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

  1. Remove the 2 fuel injector bracket nuts (2).
  2. Remove the 2 fuel injector conical washers (3).
  3. Remove the 3 fuel Injectors (1) with the 2 fuel injector brackets (4) and (7).

    4. Note: Injectors are to be removed only in pairs. If the injectors cannot be removed by hand, use the EN-46786 remover with EN-328-B sliding hammer .

  4. Remove the 3 fuel injector seals (5).
  5. Lock the Injector nozzles with EN-48559 protective caps .
  6. Remove the 3 fuel injector gaskets (6) from the camshaft housing.
