Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Installation - Fuel Rail to Fuel Injector

Special Tools

EN-6368 Set of Plugs.

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Loosen the 2 fuel rail bolts.



2. Remove the EN-6386 plugs from all open fuel connections.
3. Install the 3 fuel injection fuel feed pipes (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: Read fuel feed pipe part ID on the nut in order to avoid wrong assembly. Tighten the nuts on the rail side at first.

4. Install the 3 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M14 to the fuel rail (2) and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
5. Install the 3 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nuts M12 to the 3 fuel injectors (3) and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
6. Tighten the 2 fuel rail bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
