Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid

1. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface.



2. Inspect the power steering fluid level in the reservoir. The minimum and the maximum fluid levels are indicated by marks on the see-through fluid reservoir.
3. If the fluid is cool, 21°C (70°F), the fluid level should be at the MIN mark.
4. If the fluid is warmed up to 66°C (150°F), the fluid level should be between the MAX and MIN marks.

5. If necessary, add power steering fluid. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
