Air Conditioning Evaporator Core Replacement

1. Remove the A/C module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation .
2. Remove the heater core. Refer to Heater Core Replacement .
3. Remove the screws that secure the evaporator case halves.
4. Remove the evaporator core case cover.



5. Remove the evaporator core from the case.
6. Remove the air conditioning expansion valve. Refer to Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement .
7. Remove the thermistor from the evaporator core.

1. Install the O-rings onto the evaporator tubes.
2. Install the A/C expansion valve. Refer to Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement .
3. Install the thermistor to the evaporator core.



4. Install the evaporator core into the case. Centre the evaporator flange in the case opening.
5. Assemble the evaporator case halves with the screws.
6. Install the heater core. Refer to Heater Core Replacement .
7. Install the A/C module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation .
