Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the heater and blower and air conditioning control module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation .

Air Inlet Valve Actuator Screw (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

Air Inlet Valve Actuator

Procedure

Disconnect the air inlet valve actuator electrical connector.

Tip
Actuator is self-calibrating when connecting the battery.
