Remove the front side door outside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .

Front Side Door Outside Handle to Housing Screws Access Cover

Tip
Use a plastic flat-bladed tool to remove the screw cover.

Front Side Door Outside Handle to Housing Screws (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedures

1. Remove the water deflector.
2. Release the front inside door handle cable retainers.
3. Disconnect the front side door latch and handle rods.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
