Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the cargo accessory shelves, if equipped.
2. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Replacement .
3. Remove the tailgate door sill plate. Refer to Tailgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
4. Rotate the rear seats to the forward position.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)
