Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
2. Remove the inner rear wheel opening moulding nut.
3. Release the retainers from the wheelhouse.
4. Release the rear wheel opening moulding from the rear edge of the lower rocker panel moulding.
5. Remove the rear wheel opening moulding from the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
4.0 N·m(35 lb in)

Tip
Replace any broken retainers upon re-assembly.
