Windscreen Wiper Arm Replacement - Short Body

Note: The left-hand drive is shown. The right-hand drive is similar.

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the wiper arm finish caps in order to access the wiper arm nut.
3. Lift wiper arm assembly away from windscreen and remove wiper arm from pivot shaft.
4. Clean the wiper motor pivot shaft with a soft wire brush.

1. Install the wiper arm to the wiper motor pivot shaft.
2. Hold the wiper arm in position while securing the wiper arm nut.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

3. Operate the windscreen wipers and inspect for proper operation.
4. Close the bonnet.
