Rear Suspension Link Replacement - Toe Link

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the toe link to knuckle nut and bolt.




Note: The toe link to support fastener consists of a cam-type bolt, cam-type washer, washer and nut. Before removing this fastener, mark the original position on the cam of bolt and support frame.

3. Remove the toe link to support nut and bolt.
4. Remove the toe link from the vehicle.

1. Install the toe link to the support assembly.
2. Install the toe link to support nut and bolt.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




3. Install the toe link to the knuckle and tighten to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).
4. Align the mark on the cam of toe link to support bolt to the mark on the support frame.
5. Tighten the toe link to support bolt to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Check the wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications .
8. Correct the wheel alignment of the vehicle, if necessary. Refer to Rear Camber Adjustment and Rear Toe Adjustment.
