Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
2. Remove the inner front wheel opening moulding nut.
3. Release the retainers from the wheelhouse.
4. Release the front wheel opening moulding from the front edge of the lower rocker panel moulding.
5. Remove the front wheel opening moulding from the vehicle.

Front Wing Wheel Opening Moulding Nut

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Loosen the bolt at the rear inside of the front bumper fascia securing the wing flange to the front bumper fascia.

Tighten
2.0 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fender Wheel Opening Molding Retainer (Qty: 9)

Tip
Replace any broken retainers upon re-assembly.

Front Wing Wheel Opening Moulding Assembly

Procedure

Detach the bottom edge of the front wing wheel opening moulding from the lower front rocker panel moulding tabs and remove.
