Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the handbrake cable adjuster. Refer to Handbrake Cable Adjuster Disabling .
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
4. Remove the tyre and wheel assembly. Refer to Tyre and Wheel Removal and Installation .
5. Remove the park brake shoes. Refer to Handbrake Shoe Replacement .

Park Brake Cable Eye

Procedure

Disconnect the park brake cable eye from the actuator lever.

Procedure

After the installation is complete, enable the handbrake cable adjuster. Refer to Handbrake Cable Adjuster Enabling .
