Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .

Fuel Return Front Pipe

Procedure

1. Disconnect the fuel return front pipe from the secondary fuel pump return port and the fuel return pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
2. Disconnect the fuel return front pipe from the lower fuel return pipe. Access to the fuel return front pipe lower connection can be gained through the left front wheel well opening. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
3. Prime the fuel system upon completion of repair. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
