Exhaust Particulate Filter Removal

1. Remove the heated oxygen sensor. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement .
2. Remove the exhaust temperature sensor - position 2 and exhaust temperature sensor - position 3. Refer to Exhaust Temperature Sensor Removal - Position 2 and Exhaust Temperature Sensor Removal - Position 3 .
3. Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Heat Shield Removal .
4. Remove the turbocharger to exhaust particulate filter clamp.



5. Remove the exhaust particulate filter pressure sensor hose (1).



6. Remove the exhaust particulate filter assembly mounting bolts (2) and nut (3).
7. Remove the exhaust particulate filter assembly (1).
