Exhaust Particulate Filter Installation

1. Install the exhaust particulate filter assembly (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the exhaust particulate filter assembly mounting bolts (2) and nut (3). Tighten the bolt to 22 N·m (16.2 lb ft) and tighten the nut to 28 N·m (20.6 lb ft).



3. Install the exhaust particulate filter pressure sensor hose (1).
4. Install the turbocharger to exhaust particulate filter clamp.
5. Install the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Heat Shield Removal .
6. Install the exhaust temperature sensor - position 2 and exhaust temperature sensor - position 3. Refer to Exhaust Temperature Sensor Installation - Position 2 and Exhaust Temperature Sensor Installation - Position 3 .
7. Install the heated oxygen sensor. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement .
