DTC B1008 42: Calibration Data Not Programmed Calibration Data Set Not Programmed
Circuit/System Description
When the ignition is turned ON, the advance parking assist module performs a self-test to verify if any critical malfunction exists within the system. During the power-up mode, the advance parking assist module checks for a valid calibration data set.
Conditions for Running the DTC
• | Ignition voltage is between 9-16 V |
Conditions for Setting the DTC
A valid calibration is not detected upon module power-up.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• | Parking assist is disabled. |
• | The advance parking assist module commands the switch indicator OFF. |
• | The advance parking assist module sends a serial data message to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to display the service park assist symbol in the cluster. |
Conditions for Clearing
• | The DTC will change to history when the fault is no longer present. |
• | A history DTC will clear after 100 malfunction-free ignition cycles. |

Circuit/System Verification
Verify that DTC B1008 is not set.
⇒ | If the DTC is set, program the object alarm module. If the DTC resets, replace the advance parking assist module. |
