Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .



2. Loosen the stabiliser shaft clamp bolts.




Note: When disconnecting the stabiliser link, hold the link with a spanner to prevent turning.

3. Remove the stabiliser link to stabiliser shaft nut.




Note: When disconnecting the stabiliser link, hold the link with a spanner to prevent turning.

4. Remove the stabilizer link to lower control arm nut.
5. Remove the stabiliser link from the vehicle.

1. Position the stabiliser link through the lower control arm.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: When connecting the stabiliser link, hold the link with a spanner to prevent turning.

2. Install the stabiliser link to control arm nut and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).



3. Install the stabiliser link to stabiliser shaft nut and tighten to 115 N·m (85 lb ft).



4. Tighten the stabiliser shaft clamp bolts and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
5. Lower the vehicle.
