Clutch Pedal Replacement

1. Remove the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement : Long Body  → Short Body .



2. Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod retaining clip (1) from the clutch pedal (5).
3. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod end (2) from the clutch pedal (5).
4. Remove the clutch pedal mounting shaft nut (4) and the pedal mounting shaft (3).
5. Remove the clutch pedal (5) from the clutch pedal brace.

1. Position the clutch pedal (5) into the clutch pedal brace.
2. Coat the pedal mounting shaft (3) with multi-purpose grease.
3. Install the clutch pedal mounting shaft nut (4) and the pedal mounting shaft (3) and tighten to18 Nm (13 lb ft).
4. Connect the clutch master cylinder push rod end (2) to the clutch pedal (5).
5. Install the clutch master cylinder push rod retaining clip (1) to the clutch pedal (5).
6. Install the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement : Long Body  → Short Body .
