Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear side door window garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement .
2. It will be necessary to remove the lower bright chrome reveal molding to expose the screws, refer to the lower molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement : Lower → Upper .

Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Frame Screw Covers (Qty: 2)

Procedure

Place the door window in the full down position.

Tip
Two screws are located in the lower corner of the upper door frame under the covers.

Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Frame Screws (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Screw (Qty: 5)

Procedure

One screw is located on the back side located in the front corner of the door frame.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Push-In Retainers (Qty: 2)

Tip
Lift upward on the molding and sealing strip releasing it from the pinchweld flange.

Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
