Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
2. Remove the front side mirror applique. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Applique Replacement .
3. Remove the front door check link from the body. Refer to Front Side Door Check Link Replacement .

Procedure

1. Place the door in the full open position.
2. Place the window in the full down position.
3. Roll the upper rear corner of the weatherstrip to expose the upper push-in retainer.
