Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Replacement .
2. Use a grease pencil to mark the tailgate hinge position to the body prior to removal.

Tailgate Hinge Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
