Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the fuel tank filler door. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement .
2. Loosen the lower filler pipe bolt and remove the upper filler pipe bolt. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Replacement .

Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Retainer (Qty: 4)

Procedure

Using a flat-bladed tool, release the fuel tank filler pipe housing retainers through the wheelhouse opening.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Ensure that the fuel filler door locking rod is in the lock position while removing the housing.
