Tailgate Latch Striker Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear end trim finish panel. Refer to Rear End Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1	Tailgate Latch Striker Bolt (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Procedure Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil to ensure proper alignment during installation. Tighten 25 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Tailgate Latch Striker Procedure Adjust the tailgate if needed. Refer to Tailgate Adjustment .

Tailgate Latch Striker Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil to ensure proper alignment during installation.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
