Pre-install the water pump belt (2) to the crankshaft balancer.
Guide the water pump belt (2) over the water pump pulley (1) and push it with the thumb in the water pump pulley groove.
Slowly rotate the crankshaft by means of the crankshaft balancer bolt (3) to install the water pump belt while pushing the belt in the water pump pulley groove.
Rotate the crankshaft and check proper seat of the water pump belt in the grooves of the water pump pulley and the crankshaft balancer.
