Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the control valve body cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
2. Disconnect the neutral switch electrical and reposition harness as necessary.
3. Adjust the switch as follows:

3.1.	Set the transmission range to Neutral.

3.2.	Loosen position switch bolts, they are slotted.

3.3.	Lock the switch in the Neutral position by engaging the switch locking lever. The lever will only engage if in the Neutral position.

3.4.	Tighten the switch bolts.

3.5.	Disengage the switch lock lever and place the transmission in Park.

9 N·m (80 lb in)
