Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement : Volt → Ampera .

Bonnet Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Disconnect the bonnet release cable and the electrical connector.
