Preliminary Procedure

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the instrument panel upper centre compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Centre Compartment Replacement .

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m(13 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Disengage the tabs on the module.
3. Refer to Control Module References for programming and set up procedures.
