Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

Special Tools

1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .



2. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt (2).
3. Remove the drive belt tensioner (1).

1. Install the drive belt tensioner (1).
2. Loosely install the drive belt tensioner bolt (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.





Note: 

•	The tensioner dowel pin (1) is not aligned with the tensioner dowel pin hole (2) at this stage.

•	Tightening the bolt will damage the tensioner and the tensioner dowel pin.

3. Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt to 52 N·m (39 lb ft).
4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
