Preliminary Procedure

Remove the engine coolant fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE,LXT,LXV,L2W,2H0-MT → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LUW, LXV, LXT, L2W, 2H0-AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW .

Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
4 N·m (36 lb in)

Engine Coolant Fan Resistor

Procedure

1. Disconnect the wiring connector.
2. Unclip the engine fan resistor from the engine coolant fan shroud.
