Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

1. Open bonnet.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Remove the crankcase ventilation hoses. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Hose Replacement .
4. Disconnect the throttle body wiring harness plug.
5. Place collecting basin underneath.
6. Disconnect the throttle body heater outlet pipe.
7. Disconnect the throttle body heater inlet pipe.



8. Remove the 4 throttle body nuts (3).
9. Remove the throttle body (2).
10. Remove the throttle body seal (1).

1. Install the NEW throttle body seal (1).
2. Install the throttle body (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 4 throttle body nuts (3) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
4. Connect the 2 throttle body coolant hoses.
5. Connect the throttle body heater outlet pipe.
6. Connect the throttle body heater inlet pipe.
7. Connect the throttle body wiring harness plug.
8. Install the crankcase ventilation hoses. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Hose Replacement .
9. Check and correct the cooling fluid level in the radiator surge tank.
10. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
11. Close the bonnet.
