Rear Parking Assist Alarm Sensor Replacement - Short Body

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .



2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
3. Disconnect the connector on the sensor.
4. Remove the rear object alarm sensor on the rear bumper fascia by pulling the sensor with open key holders.

1. Install the rear object alarm sensor on the rear bumper fascia by pushing the sensor, making sure that the keys are placed in proper position.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
