Preliminary Procedure

Lower the rear door latch into the door, Do not remove the latch, pull downward to access the rear handle housing screws. Refer to Rear Side Door Catch Replacement .

Rear Side Door Outside Handle to Housing Screws (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Remove the water deflector.
2. Disconnect to outside door handle rod.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Procedure

Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.

Tip
Pull the outside handle rearward to release it from the inside handle housing.
