Preliminary Procedure

Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement : Long Body  → Short Body .

Rear Side Door Latch Screws (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Remove the water deflector.
2. Release the inside door handle cable retainers.
3. Disconnect the rear side door latch electrical connector.
4. Remove the rear side door latch rods.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
