Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear side door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
2. Remove the rear side door catch. Refer to Rear Side Door Catch Replacement .

Rear Side Door Outside Handle to Housing Screws (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Release the rear inside door handle cable retainers before lowing the rear side door latch.
2. Disconnect the rear side door latch and handle rods to remove the housing.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
