Preliminary Procedure

Remove the windscreen wiper transmission frame assembly. Refer to Windscreen Wiper Motor Replacement : Short Body .

Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
8.5 N·m (75 lb in)

Windscreen Wiper Motor

Procedure

1. Using the J 39232 separator or similar tool, separate the transmission drive links from the wiper motor crank arm ball stud.
2. Using the J 39529 installer or similar tool, install the wiper transmission drive links onto the wiper motor crank arm ball stud.
3. Remove the windscreen wiper motor.

Tip
Apply a small amount of grease to the inner cup on the transmission links to aid in installation.
