Preliminary Procedure

Remove the tailgate upper applique assembly. Refer to Tailgate Upper Applique Replacement : Short Body  → Long Body .

Rear Window Washer Nozzle

Tip
Depress both washer nozzle tabs and pull the nozzle from the high mount brake lamp and transfer.

High Mount Brake Lamp Bulb Harness

Tip
Detach the electrical connector for the bulb harness.

High Mount Brake lamp Housing Screw (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.0 N·m (18 lb in)

High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly

Procedure

Pull the lamp housing from the rearward edge of the tailgate upper applique assembly.
