Intake Camshaft Removal

1. Remove the exhaust camshaft. Refer to Exhaust Camshaft Removal .
2. Remove the timing chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Removal .

Note: Take extreme care to prevent any scratches or damage to the camshafts.

3. Remove the Intake camshaft cap bolts (1).

Note: Mark the camshaft cap position sequence.

4. Remove the intake camshaft caps (2).
5. Remove the intake camshaft (3).
